- The certificate testifying to the character of the candidate should be from a person not
related to the candidate and being a District Magistrate, a Chief Presidency Magistrate or
the Chief Administrative Officer of the District where the candidate usually resides, or
from any other person whom the Registrar may consider fit.
- Either original diplomas, certificates and other documents in support of qualifications
claimed, or copies thereof duly attested by a magistrate, a notary public or a J.P. must
be sent with the application.
Particulars such as the amount of experience in a trade marks agent's office or with a
commercial firm of repute, may be specified.
