Mr. Sanjiv Agarwal
( Chartered Accountant, Jaipur )
Mr. Sanjiv Agarwal, is a Fellow Member (FCA) of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India and a Fellow Member (FCS) of the Institute of Company
Secretaries of India. He is also Associate member (ACIS) of the Institute of Chartered
Secretaries and Administrators, UK (London). He is also a postgraduate in Accountancy and
Business Statistics from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Mr. Agarwal has 18 years of professional experience as a Chartered
Accountant with exposure in accounting, auditing, corporate laws, service tax matters,
and financial services. He has keen interest in academics, is a regular contributor of
articles in newspapers and professional journals and has a large number of published
articles on subjects ranging from Accountancy and Auditing, Capital Market, Merchant
Banking, Taxation, Corporate Laws, Economics and Banking to Management. He has so far
authored / edited twenty books. His popular books are on Accounting Standards and
Corporate Practices, Service Tax, Commentary on Companies Act, Depositories and Capital
Market.
Mr. Agarwal has been active participant and resource person at several
Seminars and Conferences on various topics organised by ICAI, ICSI and other Institutions
/ Universities / Chambers. He is also visiting faculty at various Management Institutes,
Universities and Banks. He is also actively involved in professional development
activities of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company
Secretaries of India. Recently he has been nominated as a member of a Working Group
constituted on Corporate Governance to suggest amendments in Companies Act by Department
of Company Affairs, Ministry of Law, Justice & Company Affairs.
